Saturday Outdoor Class Time Change + Yoga this Week

Sometimes, enhancing your sense of well-being only takes a few deep breaths. Sometimes just some conscious movement. But sometimes, such practices don’t come naturally, or we just don’t make the time to do them. Stepping into a calm space, and being guided towards opening and grounding – physically, mentally and emotionally – can make a world of difference. So what are you waiting for? Come yoga with us!

Our in-studio classes adhere to these strict physical distancing guidelines, so you can practice in a setting that feels safe and spacious. We offer in-studio, outdoor, and online yoga classes to suit your needs. Best of all, no matter how you choose to practice, you’ll be connected with a vibrant community of teachers and practitioners coming together to be present. We hope you’ll join us!

Starting Fourth of July, join us for yoga at the South Higgins Lake State Park beach!

Many of you have asked about outdoor yoga classes this summer, and we hear you! Starting this Saturday, July 4th, our Saturday Vinyasa class will shift to the beach at the South Higgins Lake State park for the summer. Laurie Weldon will teach an all-levels Vinyasa class every Saturday at 10:00am on the beach overlooking Higgins Lake – a dreamy class if there ever was one!

Yoga on the beach of Higgins Lake is the best way to start to the day!

This community class costs $10, or you can use your class pack or membership. Class meets at the South Higgins Lake State Park Store – please pay inside at the front counter. Bring your own yoga mat or a beach towel. Due to the class taking place on a huge beach with plenty of space, online pre-registration is not required. We do ask that you please set up your mat at least 6 feet apart from anyone who is not in your group.

After class, be sure to check out the South Higgins Lake State Park Store! They’re serving up delicious organic coffee from Higher Grounds in Traverse City, plus yummy breakfast, ice cream, and more!
